Legendary filmmaker Agnès Varda hits the road with artist JR in this surprising documentaryAgnès Varda’s unique cinematic vision has earned her a loyal following of fervent cinephiles aroundthe world, while photographer and muralist JR has a over a million faithful followers on his Instagram, which features his iconic large scale portraits. Their fan base isn’t the only thing they have in common. When JR, long-time Varda devotee, meets Agnès at her home on Rue Daguerre, they both immediately knew that they wanted to work together.

Faces, Places documents their heartwarming journey through rural France and the unlikely, tender friendship they form along the way.
