MEET THE CANDIDATES
at Buddies February meeting
Buddies member Al Spierings has invited several local candidates contesting this year’s federal election to attend our February Buddies meeting on Sunday 28 February.
They are:
- Bill Gissane, ALP candidate for Fisher
- Scott Anderson, ALP candidate for Fairfax and
- Ted O’Brien, LNP candidate for Fairfax
Al will convene a Q&A session and invites all Buddies members to send him questions they’d like the candidates to answer by Sunday 31 January. Al will collate the questions and present them to the candidates beforehand.
Buddies members are also invited to email the candidates before the meeting to let them know they’re interested in hearing their views on refugee policy.
This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with our political candidates early in the election cycle when they’re still keen to listen!
