Macedon – An Evening with author Mark Isaacs

Save the Date: Thursday, 18th July at the Woodend Neighbourhood House, 47 Forest St, 6:45pm for 7pm.
We are fortunate to have acclaimed author Mark Isaacs come to Woodend to speak to us about his experiences in Afghanistan, Nauru and the migrant caravan through Mexico and Central America.
Mark is a community worker and freelance writer. His works, The UndesirablesNauru Burning, tell the story of conflict and displaced people.
Mark will give a short reading from his latest book, The Kabul Peace House is an uplifting story of activism, bravery and optimism.
Entry is FREE but places are limited so bookings are essential:
