ECDC would also like to invite contacts who are interested in getting involved and who want to understand the development of our campaign strategy. Participants will be guided through a rigorous and challenging discussion facilitated by political strategist Neil Pharaoh. The workshop will focus on how we as a coalition can work to sharpen our advocacy skills particularly when engaging MPS, government bodies, and other key stakeholders.
Day one: ECEC Intro (Monday 3 September, 9.00am – 1.00pm)
This is an excellent opportunity for partners and potential allies to join us for an introduction to ECDC work. The session will provide an overview of ECDC’s campaign (advocacy wins, challenges) with a critique offered by Neil Pharaoh.
ECDC will be working to bring together members from across the country to attend, as well as young people and community advocates with lived refugee experience. If your organisation has some resources to also support their participation, ECDC would love to hear from you.
On Tuesday 4 September ECDC will also be co-hosting an event with the Casten Centre for Human Rights Law.
