Melbourne: Launch of Australian employers’ guide to hiring refugees

Migration Council of Australia and Tent Partnership for Refugees

The Migration Council of Australia is a national independent, not-for-profit, non-partisan body working to enhance the productive benefits of Australia’s migration and humanitarian programs. It provides strategic research and policy advice on migration and social cohesion.

MCA’s Friendly Nation Initiative is a strategy to mobilise businesses around Australia to provide employment, mentoring and internship opportunities to refugees who are living in Australia.

The Tent Partnership for Refugees was founded in 2015 in the USA by Hamdi Ulukaya, the CEO of Chobani yoghurt. Tent works with businesses around the world to help them develop and implement tangible commitments to support refugees.
