All monies to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre.  Entry $10 and above.  Primary children free.

Big-hearted Fr Andrew Hayes of Ararat is offering poetry to the populace and he is on a roll with five different upcountry concerts, including one in Torquay on November 13.  His first fair dinkum event in Hamilton was apparently stunning.

Andrew Hayes is the Catholic parish priest of St Mary’s Ararat. His most recent fundraiser was a concert of his own music which raised funds to build a new mosque in Ararat. That was 18 months ago and Andrew proudly declares that he’s still receiving hate mail.

Andrew’s  fundraisers, for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, will be a recital of his favourite poetry, featuring the works of Banjo Paterson among others. The recital promises to be high octane, to be poetry as you may not have heard it before.

Andrew does ask that you let him know you’re coming.
