SDRAMN is a group in Warwick, Queensland, with an interest in the wellbeing of refugees and migrants.
We have free English Conversation classes
in the Resource rooms at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Grafton St., Warwick
every Tuesday, 12-2 pm except during school holidays.
1. To advocate for the adoption of national refugee and asylum seeker policies that respect basic human rights and are in line with international law.2. To raise local community awareness of the facts and issues, and challenge myths, misconceptions and fears, involving refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.
3. To provide welcome and offer friendship and practical assistance to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in the Southern Downs region, supporting them to transition successfully to life in our community.
4. To work in partnership with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to empower them and help foster their independence.
